Hey there, My name is Jackson Armstrong. I am a junior at Texas State University. I'm majoring in Digital Media Innovation and minoring in English. After college I intend to get into the video game or show industries with the hope of eventually becoming a producer. Some of my hobbies include playing video games, listening to music, writing, and reading.
I was born in Waco, Texas on September 27, 2004. I went to Midway ISD where I got my high school diploma and met most of my friends today. As a kid I always wanted to do something creative for my career ever since I played my first game on my DSi. That said, I always heard that it wasn’t worth it and that I'd be better off as an engineer. But after years of pretending I wanted to do something that I didn't, I decided on to get into media production.
During my freshman and sophomore years of high school I was your run of the mill student. It wasn't until my junior and senior year that I really began to push myself to achieve more. During those years I was a member of the drumline and a section leader in the Midway Marching Band. I earn multiple division 1 rankings at several UIL solo and ensemble contests. I also went to nationals in the 2022-2023 BPA National Leadership Conference and placed second for our Virtual Multimedia and Promotion-Team project.
